This bench and bookshelf combination from Latvia’s designer Stanislav Katz deserves a mention. The ergonomic bench in the bookshelf looks more like a lounger so you can go on reading for as long as you want to. Other features include upholstered seating and, an LED reading light installed at top of the seat. No word on pricing or availability can be had.

We have earlier seen multimedia TV racks with built-in speakers and powered with subwoofers. Sharp has now gone one step ahead and has fitted its AN-ACD2 home theater right in to its TV stand. The TV rack can support TVs 37 to 42 inches in size and you can even get a Blu-ray player and game console thrown into it to complete the ultimate entertainment set-up. The home theater TV rack boasts 150 W, 2.1 channel receiver and, HDMI input for a price of 590 euros.

It should be available next month in Japan at least, for about $866. (link)
